"Google Now Smarter than SIRI" - claims Google

SIRI, a app in Apple iOS became popular as soon as it is released. Well if anyone reading don't know what it is ( which i really doubt) google it for details. In short its an app like Jarvis of Iron man. It uses a natural language interface  to answer questions, store voice control alerts, more of a personal assistant. Siri has been an integral part of iOS since iOS 5 and was first supported on the iPhone 4S. Siri was added to the third generation iPad with the release of iOS 6, and is included on the iPhone 5, fifth generation iPod Touch, fourth generation iPad and the iPad mini.

Google launched a similar app for free named Google Now. According to Google their app Google Now is far more smarter than Siri because it can store user  preferences and automatically respond as per the scenario is. In simple words Google Now is to become a Automatic Friend (kinda made that up myself).

So if you are not able to watch a match Google Now will automatically send u update scores even if u hadn't asked him. Even if you forget to take your medicines it will remind you automatically. Sounds Interesting. Don't they ???

But the iOS version lacks a lot of feature from the Android  version. Hopefully they can fill in the gap in future.

UNITY STOPS FLASH PLAYER EXPORT

Unity 3D,a game engine that is frequently used by INDIE and many Professional game developers has planned to ditch ADOBE FLASH export module.
The engine which simplified the process of exporting a game to multiple formats without facing the programming difficulties has planned to stop their deployment option of a video game to flash player.

According to the company's CEO David Helgason "We will keep the current Flash deployment feature set functioning throughout the Unity 4.x cycle and will include bug fixes made in upcoming Unity 4.x iterations. We do not plan, however, to make further significant investments in deployment to the platform."

Well it seems many of the indie developers out there might feel it disheartening since Flash is one of the biggest platforms of the online gaming community.Well there is nothing to be disheartened because Unity has its own Web Player which works very well.
With the introduction of DirectX 11 in Unity 4.x indie game developers can make AAA quality games at their own workspace.

Well the recent updates of Flash Player have got stability issues as the CEO pointed out the same in his blog.

So in the meantime we can only hope that Unity supports the export module to HTML5 which has a become a great gaming platform for the developers.

You can read the full blog post on UNITY's official blog.

Please share  your views about the decision.
